Det finns ingenting som får julfläsket att släppa bättre än en holmgång med en av europas, för tillfället absolut hetaste, DJ's. Hoppas att ni, liksom vi, minns den underbara sommarkvällen med Lindstrøm. Lusekoftorna dröp av svett när John slog igen portarna på vår favoritkrog. Nu har vi nöjet att än en gång ha Norge i huset. Caviar Crew har det enorma nöjet, och äran, att äntligen få presentera en drömbokning; Todd Terje.

Todd Terje har en diger lista skivsläpp bakom sig vid det här laget. Ännu en i raden av norrmän kan tänkas, men inte. Todd har genom sin bakgrund som pianist en egen approach till sin musik. Med en fantastisk lekfullhet får han våra fötter att röra sig på sätt vi inte trodde vi behärskade. Hans edit-makande alterego TangoTerje fick varenda vettig människa att sprätta med benen när han förr året choppade upp WackoJacko's "Can't Help It" och släppte den kitschiga saltdoftande stänkaren "Eurodans".

ToddTerje växte upp i den lilla byn Mjøndalen. Det kryllade inte av dansmusikinfluenser, och "Mjøndalens Diskoklubb", som är titelspår på en av Terjes 12", finns bara i fantasin. Någon diskoklubb fanns aldrig tillgängligt för honom. Kanske är det Terjes bakgrund som hjälpt honom skapa sitt respektlösa, opretentiösa sound. I hans musik hör i allafall vi en liten gosse i en regnigt norge som drömmer sig bort till en solig strand i medelhavet.

När Todd Terje inte reser jorden runt för att tvinga folk att dansa pluggar han till astrofysiker. Vilket alltså i praktiken innebär att vi snart får lyssna till en DJ som har papper på sin kompetens inom kosmisk disko.

Vad skall vi då kalla det? Är det Techno? Disko? Funk? House? Gossen från Mjøndalen kunde inte bry sig mindre. Inte vi heller.

I think that if you can´t hate you can´t love. Rune Lindbaek last thursday was amazing. I just loved his whole set. In fact, I think I love more then I hate...or do I?

End of insomnia!

I Just woke up after 11h of sleep. If im lucky, this might be the end of the insomnia-period i´ve been suffering from the last weeks.

Malmö was great. Tim & Mike did a good job at the huge party at Buddah Lounge that "dyngan" throwed. I left the Dyngan-party early to start spinning at this crazy venue called "The Mission", wich is this awesome big illegal club owned by a man who is acctualy named "Viking"!. Me and Piotr (with some help from pissdrunk-Tim & Mike) played till 6:30 or something. I just love Malmö just because of shit like that. A club like The Mission would never be able to keep on going without being shut down by the cops in Gothenburg.

This thursday we have a special guest at Locatelli. Rune Linbaek from norway will give us the best of that sunrising fjord-disco. check out rune @ http://www.myspace.com/runelindbaek
